Mission description


As the Certification and Accreditation Officer, and a key member of SOCOTEC's US team reporting to the Director US, you will assist in the maintenance and Implementation of the SOCOTEC Accredited Management system to ensure conformance with the Accreditation/Certification requirements. You will conduct audits on customer's management systems and review of audit packages. You will be a member of 2 committees: Global reviewer and Board of Decision Going more granular, you will
- Conduct auditor performance monitoring including witnessing of auditors
- Resolve issues between reviewers and auditors when issues are raised during the package review process
- Manage the local Auditor Network, extending the portfolio of auditors
- Perform technical reviews, updating and maintaining auditor information in database
- Conduct audits (approximately 40- 50% of your time)
- Manage the ANAB Accreditation
- Review of data/information received from overseas offices
- Conduct technical reviews of proposals and audit packages



Experience Required :
- 3+ years of auditing how a product is produced, rather than to the product itself
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS, ISO 14001, Accreditation 17021
- Technical training in Quality Control, Quality Assurance Skills Required
- Solid communication (both verbal and writing) and presentation skills
- A strong attention to detail, coupled with a dedication to ethical, professional behavior
-Expertise with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Knowledge Required
- Knowledge and capacity to develop and maintain policies, procedures and techniques.
